عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: (( لا تقبل صلاة من أحدث حتى يتوضأ )). قال رجل من حضرموت : ما الحدث يا أبا هريرة؟ قال : فساء أو ضراط. رواه البخاري

Narrated Abu Huraira (May Allah be pleased with him) : Allah's Messenger (May peace be upon him) said: (( The Salat (Prayer) of a person who does Hadath (passes urine, stool or wind) is not accepted till he performs (repeats) the ablution )). A person from hadramout asked Abu Huraira " What is Hadath?", Abu Huraira replied, " Hadath means the passing of wind from the anus".
